Maybe she took a cue from her good friends Barack and Michelle because Oprah decided to celebrate the taping of her final show with a feast at Spiaggia.
The Big O and her 17 guests, including Gayle King, Stedman Graham and Maria Shriver (who seems to be spending a lot of time in Chicago these days), dined on a four-course meal in Spiaggia’s private dining space above the restaurant.
Upon arriving, the group was greeted by chef Tony Mantuano and enjoyed some Champagne before indulging in the meal that included gnocchi in black truffle sauce. Oprah apparently loved the dish so much that she stood and bowed to executive chef Sarah Grueneberg. Now that’s an a-ha moment.
