The online auction benefiting the Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength will go live on September 15 and run through October 15, 2010
NEW YORK, NY (August 30, 2010)—The 2010 Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure, has appointed Quinn & Co. Public Relations agency as a Diamond Level Sponsor and exclusive presenter of the festival’s online auction. In conjunction with the festival, taking place October 7-10, 2010, the online auction will begin September 15 and run through October 15, 2010 with 100 percent of the net proceeds benefiting the hunger-relief organizations, the Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength.
The 2010 Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival Online Auction Presented by Quinn & Co. will feature unique experience-driven packages not accessible to the everyday luxury, culinary and travel enthusiast. Quinn & Co. has secured donations from its impressive list of Food, Wine + Spirits clients, as well as its national and international Travel clients. - Dining packages such as Michelin star-rated chef Marc Forgione and Master Sommelier Fred Dexheimer partnering for a seasonal tasting dinner and pairings in the bidder’s home, starting at $4000; or dinner at Jean-Georges’ restaurant, The Mark, accompanied with a two night stay in a Seventy Seven King room for two, valued at $2500.
- Once-in-a-lifetime travel getaway packages tout unforgettable international getaways in Rome at the Rome Cavalieri, The Waldorf Astoria Collection hotel; and an overnight at Quebec’s Hotel de Glace, a magical hotel created from snow and ice—a true contemporary twist to life in the Far North. The Waldorf Astoria in New York City is allowing a bidder to spend a day working with their renowned culinary team followed by a relaxing spa experience in Guerlain Spa and dinner for two at Bull & Bear restaurant.
- The spirits category hypes a tour of the Jim Beam Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky paired with a two night stay at the award-winning 21c Museum Hotel, starting at $950.
