Labor Day: Gov’t workers pay $49/night at Doral Golf

The Doral Golf Resort & Spa, a Marriott Resort in the Miami area, is offering a last-minute Labor Day deal for government employees such as fire-fighters, teachers and police officers: Rooms starting at $49 a night.

The promotion applies for the Sept. 3-6 weekend at the resort that features 693 rooms, five golf courses, a spa and other facilities on 650 acres. The room rate does not include taxes and gratuities. Room-only rates generally run $129 a night, Doral Golf said.
