STORY OF THE PURPLE COUCH
At Quinn & Co., we have a Dream Room instead of a conference room. We call it the Dream Room because this is where we brainstorm our award-winning and eye-catching creative ideas.
In our previous office, a purple couch graced the Dream Room and quickly became a symbol of our results-oriented, out-of-the-box thinking. Clients would say: “Go to the Dream Room, sit on the purple couch, and come up with one of your great creative ideas for me.”
When we moved to our current offices, the purple couch was relocated to a comfortable position in the office of the president.
Today the purple couch serves as the company mascot, reminding us to continually innovate in a culture of inclusion.

Our public relations blog, The Purple Lounge, is an extension of the couch’s mojo. Through the blog, we share ideas, thoughts and trends related to PR, marketing, digital media, communications and branding with a larger community (hence a lounge instead of a sofa).
